The 10kg Patio Gas Cylinder is the biggest bottle Gas2Go supplies and the one to choose if you cook outdoors often. Twice the propane of the 5kg means roughly half as many changeovers, which is the main thing people want once a BBQ or pizza oven becomes a weekly habit rather than an occasional one.
It is still a composite cylinder, so at 15kg full it remains manageable where a steel 13kg bottle is genuinely awkward. The translucent body shows what is left, so a long evening of cooking or patio heating does not end in a guess.
This cylinder takes the standard 27mm clip-on propane regulator fitted to most UK patio gas appliances, so in most cases it will connect to your existing BBQ or heater with no changes at all. If your appliance uses a different fitting, swapping to a 27mm clip-on propane regulator is quick — ask us and we will confirm what you need.

It depends on the appliance. A large 4-burner BBQ typically uses between 0.5kg and 0.9kg of propane an hour on full, so a full 10kg cylinder gives many hours of cooking before it needs replacing.
Choose the 10kg if you cook outdoors regularly or run a patio heater for whole evenings — you will change bottles about half as often. The 5kg is easier to carry and store, and is the better choice for occasional use or limited space.
Yes. The composite body will not rust and is built for outdoor use. Store it upright in a ventilated space, never indoors or in a sealed cupboard.
